Thankful Thursday #246

"You will show me the path that leads to LIFE;
Your presence fills me with JOY and brings me pleasure forever."

Today, I am thankful for:

1.  My new counseling job with Momentum, and God lining this path with confirmation, processing time, helpful connections, wisdom, favor, support, and open doors that all worked together to lead me to this new starting line!

2.    This reminder that when we stand in loyalty to Jesus, He tends to do the same for us!  (Daniel 3 is among my favorite chapters in the Bible, and definitely one of my favorite Beth Moore teachings of all time!)

3.  We've made it to October, which means we get to see Jaceman play in his first football game four days from now!  Also thankful for his love of basketball and his strong determination when he sets his focus on something!

4.  The level of Christmas cheer in this picture (9121, me at Kyndal's current age).  You'd think it was a posed candid, but we hadn't come up with that yet. lol

5.  That no painful experience or season of my life is wasted with God - He can use and redeem it all in ways I'm only starting to see.

6.  Thankful that being confident in God's faithfulness builds our endurance, and thankful for God's promise to reward obedience!

7.  This verse struck me in a very personal way when I read it, and I've made it my lead profile verse on FB and the blog for this season.  God is generous and kind, and He knows every gift He has given me (spiritual understanding, financial provision, family, friends, character, creativity, unique personality, writing, leadership gifts, etc.)  This is a reminder to think about those gifts and be intentional about giving Him my BEST -- to be wholehearted, to take God's investment seriously, to use well the grace and the personalized set of gifts He's given me in a way that glorifies Him and strengthens others! ❤

Also thankful that October has arrived - my life is in a vibrant, growing spring season, which is exciting!  But I love that it's all happening in the midst of the actual season of fall (which feels relaxing and cozy to me, and I'm honestly needing all the devotional reminders to REST in Jesus lately).
